OUR DESIGN PROCESS
Once a design is chosen, the decision process starts. From the choice of timber and
stain, through to all the upholstery details.
Our standard frames are made up in beech with the option to upgrade to premium
woods – ash, oak, mahogany or walnut. For our beech frames, we have a large
range of stains available to resemble other woods or painted to a colour of your
choice. Our premium woods can be left natural or polished to deeper tones.
As everything is made to order, the standard dimensions of our frames can be
altered to suit specific needs.
All leg and carver arm shapes are interchangeable. All fabrics and combinations can
be supplied by the client or ordered by us if required. We offer a wider range of
upholstery finishing details, include piping (whether contrast or self) or nailing in a
range of 8 finishes. Other options such as handles, buttoning, skirts and loose
covers are also available.
